First time on the yoga mat? Start with a systematic approach from the very beginning. Learn everything you need to know to get your yoga practice started in this progressive 5 class series to discover the basics of Yoga in a fun, safe and supportive setting. *next series will be held in Summer.

Perfect for ongoing beginners or if you have had some time off the the mat. Expect articulate instruction with a consistent flowing format of postures. Modifications offered in all postures. You will leave class feeling exhilarated, grounded & connected.

Dynamic mixed level aligned-flow class. Invigorate your entire body and quiet the mind in this fun, powerful full spectrum practice that incorporates a nomadic sequence of postures.  Modifications offered in all postures. These classes will challenge and empower students ready to cultivate a more fluent, open level of asana experience.

restorative

Good for everybody. Quiet, supportive & rejuvenating. Leave feeling centered and calm from this mindful, therapeutic practice. No weight bearing on hands.

Welcome to  yogayogaeast

We are passionate about sharing Yoga that combines elegant principles of biomechanics with life-affirming philosophy.

There are no pre-requisites, just come to stretch, get into the flow of your breath, maybe fall over, definitely get up again, sometimes laugh, sometimes sweat. We will take leaps together, sometimes fly and sometimes stay earthbound.

Expect to be inspired, challenged and encouraged on this ever evolving journey of awakening, consciously navigating life, breathing in, breathing out, getting into our bodies, minds and hearts and celebrating our wild lives together.

STUDIO ETIQUETTE &  F.A.Q's

Drop in to any class...unless marked *pre-reg. 

Heat we practice yoga at regular room temperature...no extreme heat.

Shoes thank you for removing them at the front door

Arrive 5-10 minutes before your class...relax, settle. 

Perfume please refrain from wearing to your practice.

Eat any big meals at least 2 hours before your practice...snack on 1/2 banana if hungry.

Practice aim to practice at least 3 times each week...for optimal health, vitality & joy.

No matter what stage your yoga practice is at, come nourish and grow it with this warm, bright friendly community! 

The studio is located on the 3rd floor of the Riverdale Hub, 1326 Gerrard East .

Free parking can be found at the back of the building, side streets daytime or on Gerrard after 6pm.
