Post-Natal Yoga(Mom and Baby) helps mothers get back in shape while enjoying close, meaningful interaction with their newborn. Moms will learn a dynamic and nurturing yoga sequence that will help restore the pelvic floor, regain inner strength and find a sense of calm. 

Connect with a community of mothers and share your experience, support & laughter as you rediscover the joy of Yoga. You and your little one are invited to join this pre-registered course as soon as you feel ready (usually from about 6 weeks postpartum) and can continue taking consecutive sessions until your baby is crawling.  

Thea Mistry

Thea teaches with a contagious joy and seeks to inspire her students to shine their light on the world. Her classes explore the ever-shifting balance of grounding/expanding, stretching/strengthening, nurturing/challenging, in a playful flow of asana. In 2009, she completed her Dru Yoga Teacher Training while living in the UK, and was blessed that winter to do a Hatha Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India. Shortly after returning to Canada, she discovered Anusara yoga, and is now excitedly working towards certification. She is especially passionate about empowering women as they become mothers, through pre/postnatal yoga and her work as a birth doula. Her own baby is constantly reminding her how fun it is to move (and how vital!!) Favourite pose? Warriors because they tune us into the fierce & bottomless strength that resides in our hearts.
